Girl Named Tom

Girl Named Tom is an American folk trio from Pettisville, Ohio, consisting of siblings Bekah Grace Liechty, Joshua Liechty, and Caleb Liechty. The group rose to national fame as the winners of season 21 of The Voice, making history as the first trio to win the American version of the show while competing under coach Kelly Clarkson, who celebrated her fourth and final victory with them. The band name, inspired by a childhood nickname Joshua gave Bekah, reflects the siblings’ close bond. Originally planning to pursue medical careers, they instead formed the band in 2019 and began releasing music independently, debuting with the single “Barrier Island” and the EP Another World. Their musical journey continued with the release of their album Hits from the Road in 2021, featuring cover songs, followed by a holiday single, “No Snow for Christmas,” released under Republic Records just after their Voice win.
