Lil Wayne has officially released his highly anticipated album, Tha Carter VI, on June 6, 2025. This marks his 14th solo studio album and the sixth installment in his iconic Tha Carter series, arriving seven years after Tha Carter V (2018) and five years since his last solo album, Funeral (2020) .

Tha Carter VI spans 62 minutes and features an eclectic mix of hip-hop and pop. The album boasts an impressive roster of collaborators, including:

  • Andrea Bocelli

  • Kodak Black

  • Machine Gun Kelly (MGK)

  • Kameron Carter (Lil Wayne’s son)

Wayne revealed the album’s release date in a unique way—through a Cetaphil Super Bowl commercial. The ad subtly hinted at the date with visuals like jersey numbers and a studio sign reading “Do Not Disturb ’Til 06-06-25 Carter VI”

To celebrate the album, Lil Wayne is embarking on the Tha Carter VI Tour, a 34-city North American journey running from June 6 to October 2, 2025. The tour kicked off with a special album release concert at Madison Square Garden in New York City. Supporting acts include Tyga, NoCap, Belly Gang Kushington, and The Hot Boys on select dates .
