In September 2015, Scott released his debut studio album Rodeo, which included the hit single “Antidote.” His sophomore album Birds in the Trap Sing McKnight (2016) debuted at number one on the Billboard 200. Despite widespread acclaim, Scott’s career has faced serious challenges: in November 2021, a crowd surge during his Astroworld Festival performance in Houston resulted in ten deaths and hundreds of injuries. The tragedy led to legal action, public backlash, and increased scrutiny over live event safety—issues he has since addressed publicly and through changes in his touring practices .
