Aitch

Aitch, born Harrison James Armstrong on December 9, 1999, in New Moston, Manchester, is a British rapper and songwriter known for his sharp lyricism and charismatic presence. He first gained attention in 2015 when a friend uploaded a video of his freestyle to YouTube, which quickly went viral. His breakthrough came in 2018 with the track “Straight Rhymez,” propelling him into the UK rap scene. Since then, Aitch has released multiple successful projects, including the EPs On Your Marks (2017), AitcH2O (2019), and Polaris (2020). His debut studio album, Close to Home (2022), reached number two on the UK Albums Chart and featured collaborations with artists like Ed Sheeran and Ashanti. Aitch’s music often reflects his Manchester roots, and he has been recognized for his contributions to British hip hop, winning the Brit Award for British Hip Hop/Grime/Rap Act in 2023. Beyond music, he is also known for his philanthropic efforts, particularly supporting the Down’s Syndrome Association, inspired by his sister Gracie.
