Alli Walker is a Canadian country music singer-songwriter and former model, born in 1989 in Summerside, Prince Edward Island. Known for her gritty authenticity, engaging storytelling, and bold personality, Walker has steadily carved her own lane in the country music scene, blending traditional country influences with modern themes and unfiltered emotion.
After spending a decade developing her sound, Walker independently released her debut album, The Basement Sessions: What I’ve Learned So Far, on September 13, 2019. The project, recorded in the basement of her home alongside her husband, captured raw and honest reflections on life and marked her official arrival as an artist.
Following the album’s release, the couple relocated to Kelowna, British Columbia, where Walker continued to build momentum. On March 10, 2023, she released her sophomore album, Growing Up, featuring standout tracks like “Red Wine or Whiskey,” “Country Music,” “Maybe I’m Still Drunk,” and a female perspective rendition of “Sand in My Boots.”
Later in 2023, Walker dropped “The Whiskey’s Gone,” a viral hit that propelled her further into the spotlight. Riding the wave of success, she and her husband moved to Nashville, Tennessee. There, she released “Hung Up,” and in March 2024, signed her first record deal with RECORDS Nashville. That same month, she released the single “I Like Big Trucks.”
Walker’s unapologetic and lively persona reached new heights in April 2024, when she performed her song “Creek” during a Nashville Predators playoff game. In a now-viral moment, she drank beer from the mouth of a dead catfish—an act that received widespread media coverage, including features on Hockey Night in Canada and ESPN in the United States.
Her rising influence in the country music world was recognized with a nomination for Female Artist of the Year at the 2024 Canadian Country Music Awards, cementing her status as one of the genre’s most dynamic and fearless new voices.
