Benito Antonio Martínez Ocasio, professionally known as Bad Bunny, is a Puerto Rican rapper and singer born on March 10, 1994, in Vega Baja, Puerto Rico. Widely regarded as the “King of Latin Trap,” he has been instrumental in catapulting Spanish-language rap into global mainstream success and is considered one of the greatest Latin rappers of all time. Bad Bunny first gained recognition in 2016 with his breakout song “Diles,” which led to a deal with Hear This Music, and he quickly rose through the ranks with hits like “I Like It” with Cardi B and J Balvin and “Mía” featuring Drake. His discography includes critically and commercially successful albums such as X 100pre (2018), Oasis (2019) with J Balvin, YHLQMDLG (2020), Las que no iban a salir (2020), El Último Tour Del Mundo (2020), and the record-breaking Un Verano Sin Ti (2022), which became the most-streamed album in Spotify history and the first Spanish-language album nominated for Grammy Album of the Year. He continued his streak with number-one albums Nadie Sabe Lo Que Va a Pasar Mañana (2023) and Debí Tirar Más Fotos (2025).
