Aditya Prateek Singh, professionally known as Badshah, is a renowned Indian rapper, singer, songwriter, music producer, television personality, and entrepreneur, born on November 19, 1984. He has established himself as one of the leading figures in the Indian music scene, known for his dynamic style and multilingual versatility, recording hits in Hindi, Punjabi, English, and Haryanvi. Badshah gained massive popularity with the track “Saturday Saturday,” which was featured in the 2014 film Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhania. He followed up with Bollywood chartbusters like “Abhi Toh Party Shuru Hui Hai,” “Kar Gayi Chull,” “Garmi,” and “Proper Patola.” He started his musical journey under the alias “Cool Equal” but rebranded as Badshah on the advice of Yo Yo Honey Singh, with whom he initially collaborated before parting ways due to creative and credit disagreements.
