Bryson Tiller

Bryson Djuan Tiller, born on January 2, 1993, alias “Bryson Tiller,” is an American singer, rapper, and songwriter known for blending trap and soul into a signature sound that reshaped contemporary R&B. He began his music career in 2011 with the mixtape Killer Instinct Vol. 1, but it wasn’t until 2015 that he gained mainstream recognition with the viral success of “Don’t,” a self-released single on SoundCloud that later peaked at No. 13 on the Billboard Hot 100 and earned a septuple platinum certification. Early endorsements from industry giants like Timbaland and Drake brought label offers, and Tiller eventually signed with RCA Records, turning down an offer from Drake’s OVO Sound. His debut album, Trapsoul (2015), reached No. 8 on the Billboard 200 and featured hit singles like the Grammy-nominated “Exchange” and “Sorry Not Sorry.” Tiller’s follow-up album, True to Self (2017), debuted at No. 1, solidifying his presence in the R&B scene.
