Charlotte Emma Aitchison, professionally known as Charli XCX, is a British singer, songwriter, and producer born on 2 August 1992 in Cambridge, England. Emerging from the London underground rave scene in the late 2000s, she gained global recognition after featuring on Icona Pop’s hit “I Love It” (2012). Known for her boundary-pushing approach to pop, Charli has since released a series of critically acclaimed albums including True Romance (2013), Sucker (2014), Charli (2019), and How I’m Feeling Now (2020), the latter created entirely during the COVID-19 lockdowns.
