Dua Lipa born 22 August 1995 is an English and Albanian singer, songwriter, and actress known for her powerful vocals and modern pop style. She began her career as a model before signing with Warner Bros. Records in 2014 after being discovered by Tap Management. Her self-titled debut album (2017) featured hits like “IDGAF” and the UK number-one “New Rules”, earning her Brit Awards for British Female Solo Artist and British Breakthrough Act. In 2018, her collaboration with Calvin Harris on “One Kiss” topped charts and won Song of the Year at the Brit Awards. She later earned Grammy Awards for Best New Artist and Best Dance Recording for “Electricity” with Silk City. Her second album, Future Nostalgia (2020), became a global success with hits like “Don’t Start Now” and “Levitating”, winning a Grammy for Best Pop Vocal Album and a Brit Award for British Album of the Year.
