EBK Jaaybo

Jaaybo’s musical journey began in his teenage years, influenced by his father, James “Rrari” Gorman, who was also a rapper. He became a member of the EBK HotBoizz, a group founded by his cousin, EBK Young Joc. His early exposure to music and the challenges of his environment shaped his distinctive style, characterized by gritty storytelling and emotional depth.

In 2024, Jaaybo gained significant attention with his single “Boogieman,” which charted on Billboard’s Bubbling Under Hot 100 and Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs lists. The track, featuring a haunting choir loop and heavy bass, showcased his ability to convey complex emotions through music.

Despite his rising fame, Jaaybo’s career has been marred by legal issues. He has faced multiple arrests, including a notable incident in March 2025 when he was charged with drug and ammunition offenses shortly after being released from prison. Nevertheless, his resilience is evident in his continued musical output, such as the album “The Reaper,” released while incarcerated, and the single “F*ck Everybody (Free Maxx).”
