Fuerza Regida is an American regional Mexican band originating from San Bernardino, California, known for revolutionizing the corridos tumbados and urban regional Mexican music scenes. Formed in 2015 as a cover band, the group consists of Jesús Ortíz Paz (JOP) on lead vocals, Samuel Jáimez on twelve-string guitar and backing vocals, Khrystian Ramos on rhythm guitar, José “Pelón” García on sousaphone, and Moisés López on tololoche.
After gaining early attention on YouTube with self-written and cover songs, Fuerza Regida broke through in 2018 with their viral single “Radicamos en South Central.” The song’s success led to a record deal with Lumbre Music and Rancho Humilde, and the release of their debut live album En Vivo Puros Corridos that same year.
Their rise was meteoric, and by 2019, their first studio album Del Barrio Hasta Aquí topped the Regional Mexican Albums chart and reached the top 10 on Billboard’s Top Latin Albums. Since then, they’ve released a string of successful albums
