Nayvadius DeMun Cash (né Wilburn; born November 20, 1983), known professionally as Future, is a Grammy Award-winning American rapper, singer-songwriter, and record producer from Atlanta, Georgia, widely regarded as one of the most influential figures in modern hip-hop and trap music. Known for his pioneering use of Auto-Tune and mumble-styled vocals, Future rose to prominence with a series of mixtapes in 2011 before signing with Epic Records and releasing his debut studio album Pluto in 2012. He followed up with a string of critically acclaimed and commercially successful albums including Honest, DS2, Evol, and his back-to-back chart-toppers Future and Hndrxx in 2017, making Billboard history.
