Biography

Haven Madison, born on March 4, 2006, in Clarksville, Tennessee, is an American singer-songwriter who rose to fame as one of the standout younger contestants on Season 21 of American Idol. Though she didn’t make it into the top five, she quickly became a fan favorite for her heartfelt lyrics and emotional performances. Haven began singing at a young age and spent time touring with her father’s band—her father, Jason Roy, even joined her for a performance during her Idol audition. She released her debut single, “Already Gone,” in 2020, followed by her first EP, All the Things I Didn’t Say, in 2022. Her song “Kiss the Ground” has garnered over 1 million streams on Spotify. On TikTok, her havenmadisonsings account—featuring music clips, live performances, and travel content—has earned her over 130,000 followers. A deeply personal songwriter, Haven wrote “I Still Need You” for her brother Avery, who has struggled with depression. She also had the opportunity to work with Alanis Morissette on American Idol, performing a cover of “You Learn” during the competition.
