Jax, born Jacqueline Cole Miskanic on May 5, 1996, in Atlantic Beach, New York, is an American singer-songwriter and social media personality known for her witty pop-punk anthems and empowering lyrics. Raised in East Brunswick, New Jersey, she began singing at age 5 and was homeschooled to accommodate her musical pursuits. Her father, John, a firefighter who was injured during the September 11 attacks, and her mother, Jill, a New York City schoolteacher, have been supportive of her career.
