Kojo Blak, born McDonald Braide on July 23, 2001, is a Ghanaian Afrofusion singer and songwriter from Dansoman, Accra. He gained prominence after winning Victony’s Instagram song challenge in 2023, which led to collaborations with artists like KiDi and Black Sherif .
In 2024, Kojo Blak released his debut EP titled “757,” blending traditional African rhythms with contemporary sounds. The title “757” symbolizes his journey, representing both a flight number and a metaphor for the highs and lows of his musical path .
His latest EP, “131,” released on March 28, 2025, features tracks like “Behind,” “Over Do,” and “Small Thing” . Notably, his single “Excellent,” featuring Kelvyn Boy, has garnered attention for its vibrant sound .
