Martin Garrix

Martijn Gerard Garritsen, professionally known as Martin Garrix (also Ytram and GRX), is a Dutch DJ and record producer born on May 14, 1996. Widely recognized for his chart-topping tracks “Animals,” “In the Name of Love,” and “Scared to Be Lonely,” Garrix rose to global fame as one of the youngest and most successful figures in electronic dance music. Discovered by Tiësto and signed to Spinnin’ Records in 2012, his early works include collaborations like “BFAM” with Julian Jordan and “Error 404” with Jay Hardway. His 2013 hit “Torrent,” co-released with Sidney Samson, was featured on Tiësto’s Musical Freedom label. Garrix made history in 2014 as the youngest DJ to headline Ultra Music Festival and later headlined numerous top-tier festivals, including Coachella, Tomorrowland, Creamfields, and Electric Daisy Carnival. He launched his own label, Stmpd Rcrds, in 2016 after parting ways with Spinnin’ Records and subsequently signed with Sony Music. A former resident DJ at Ibiza’s Hï and Ushuaïa, Garrix earned the top spot on DJ Mag’s Top 100 DJs list for three consecutive years—2016, 2017, and 2018—solidifying his status as a leading force in modern EDM.
