Megan Thee Stallion

Megan Jovon Ruth Pete, known professionally as Megan Thee Stallion, is an American rapper and songwriter born on February 15, 1995, in San Antonio, Texas, and raised in Houston. She gained viral fame through freestyle videos while attending Prairie View A&M University and later signed with 1501 Certified Entertainment in 2018. Her breakthrough came with the mixtape Fever (2019) and the EP Suga (2020), which included hit singles like “Hot Girl Summer,” “Cash Shit,” and the chart-topping, Grammy-winning “Savage (Remix)” featuring Beyoncé. Her debut album Good News (2020) was followed by Something for Thee Hotties (2021) and Traumazine (2022), the latter released amid legal battles and the aftermath of being shot by Tory Lanez. In 2023, she founded her own label, Hot Girl Productions, and released her third album Megan (2024), which featured “Hiss,” her first solo No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100 and Billboard Global 200. Megan has won three Grammy Awards and multiple BET, MTV, and American Music Awards, and was named one of Time’s 100 most influential people in 2020. A proud graduate of Texas Southern University with a degree in health administration, Megan has also ventured into television and film, solidifying her as a powerhouse in both music and pop culture.
