Miranda Lambert, born November 10, 1983, is an American country music singer and songwriter known for her raw storytelling, fierce independence, and powerhouse vocals. Born in Longview, Texas, she launched her career in 2001 with an independent self-titled debut album before gaining national attention in 2003 by finishing third on Nashville Star, which led to a record deal with Epic Records. Her major-label debut, Kerosene (2005), went platinum and produced four Top 40 singles, marking the start of a prolific career. Lambert’s discography includes acclaimed albums like Crazy Ex-Girlfriend, Revolution, Platinum, The Weight of These Wings, Wildcard, and Palomino, earning her multiple Grammy Awards and countless chart-topping hits such as “Gunpowder & Lead,” “The House That Built Me,” and “Bluebird.” She is also a founding member of the Pistol Annies, a trio formed in 2011 with Ashley Monroe and Angaleena Presley.
