Myke Towers

Michael Anthony Torres Monge (born January 15, 1994), known professionally as Myke Towers, is a Puerto Rican rapper and singer recognized for his lyrical versatility and crossover appeal in Latin urban music. He began his career by uploading music to SoundCloud, gaining early traction in Puerto Rico under the name “Mike” before rebranding as “Myke,” inspired by the phrase “Young Kingz.” His breakout mixtape El Final del Principio (2016) reached number 12 on the Latin Rhythm Albums chart, laying the foundation for a prolific career. Towers gained international attention through collaborations with artists such as Bad Bunny (“Estamos Arriba”), Becky G (“Dollar”), and Piso 21 (“Una Vida Para Recordar”). His debut studio album, Easy Money Baby (2020), released shortly after the birth of his son, dominated the Top Latin Albums chart and earned a Latin Grammy nomination. He followed it with Lyke Mike (2021), a 23-track homage to Michael Jordan, and La Vida Es Una (2023), which included his viral hit “Lala”—his first track to top Billboard’s Global 200. In 2023, Towers signed with S10 Entertainment, further expanding his global reach. He released two more albums in quick succession: LVEU: Viva la Tuya… No la Mía (2023) and La Pantera Negra (2024), the latter featuring collaborations with stars like Peso Pluma and Cosculluela. Celebrated for his impact on reggaeton and Latin trap, Towers was named New Artist of the Year at the 2021 Billboard Latin Music Awards and has been nominated for multiple Latin Grammys.
