About "DON TOLIVER"

Biography

Caleb Zackery,  Don Toliver (born June 12, 1994) is an American rapper and singer-songwriter hailing from Houston, Texas. Known for his melodic trap style and distinct vocal tone, Toliver rose to fame with the release of his debut mixtape Donny Womack in 2018—just a day before his breakout feature on Travis Scott’s Astroworld track, “Can’t Say.” That pivotal moment led to his signing with Scott’s Cactus Jack Records, in a joint venture with Atlantic Records. Toliver quickly gained mainstream attention with the viral success of singles like “No Idea” and “After Party,” both of which became triple platinum hits thanks in part to TikTok virality. His 2020 debut album Heaven or Hell received critical acclaim and commercial success, debuting in the top ten of the Billboard 200. He followed it up with Life of a Don (2021) and Love Sick (2023), which both charted strongly and solidified his position in the modern hip-hop and R&B landscape. Don also achieved global recognition for his feature on Internet Money’s hit single “Lemonade” alongside Nav and Gunna, peaking at number six on the Billboard Hot 100. In 2024, he released his fourth studio album Hardstone Psycho, a trap-driven project that reached number three on the Billboard 200 and spawned the top 40 single “Bandit.” Known for collaborating with artists like Travis Scott, Nav, Quavo, Offset, Eminem, and The Weeknd, Don Toliver continues to evolve as one of the most dynamic voices in contemporary hip-hop and R&B.
