Nemzzz began his journey in 2018, honing his craft by rapping over YouTube instrumentals. His breakout moment came in November 2021 with “Elevate,” which received a GRM Daily-backed music video. He followed up with “2MS” in February 2022, further expanding his growing fan base. Collaborations with respected artists like Knucks and Stay Flee Get Lizzy on the song “No Refunds” in late 2022 cemented his credibility as an artist to watch.
In May 2023, he released the EP Nemzzz Type Beat, a project that bridged the gap between early singles and his debut mixtape. The track “Money and Vibes,” released in October 2023, marked the start of the rollout for his highly anticipated debut mixtape. This was followed by “8AM In Manny,” which garnered a cosign from none other than Drake, elevating Nemzzz to a new level of visibility. Songs like “Therapy,” “L’s,” and “PTSD” built anticipation leading to the release of his first mixtape.
On 15 March 2024, Nemzzz released Do Not Disturb, featuring guest appearances from Luciano and JayG. A deluxe edition dropped three days later, with added features from K-Trap, Headie One, and Lil Yachty. The mixtape debuted at #17 on the UK Albums Chart, #1 on the UK R&B Albums Chart and charted internationally in countries like New Zealand, Ireland, Belgium, Switzerland, and Portugal.
Nemzzz maintained momentum throughout 2024, releasing a string of singles including “ATM,” “WYA,” “Escape,” “Evicted,” and “Us vs. Them.” His On The Radar Freestyle showcased his lyrical finesse, and he continued to build international connections by featuring on A Boogie Wit da Hoodie’s “Body” (UK remix) and Dee Billz’s “Beckham” (remix). He also collaborated with Onefour on “Spinnin,” highlighting his expanding global reach.
In 2025, Nemzzz returned with a new chapter in his career. He was featured on KidWild’s “Redemption” and released “Cold” in February, the lead single for his second mixtape. The track reached #92 on the UK Singles Chart and #19 in New Zealand. The follow-up single, “Bad Decisions,” peaked at #22 in New Zealand.
On 28 March 2025, Nemzzz released his second mixtape, Rent’s Due, with features from Central Cee and Kyle Richh, followed by a deluxe version that included collaborations with D-Block Europe and Chy Cartier. Rent’s Due marked a major step forward, debuting at #6 on the Official UK Albums Chart, #1 on the UK R&B Albums Chart, and charting across Europe and New Zealand. Its standout track, “Dilemma,” featuring Central Cee, became Nemzzz’s highest-charting single to date, reaching #39 in the UK and #8 on the UK Independent Singles Chart.
With a confident blend of melodic flows, polished production, and consistent chart performance, Nemzzz has firmly established himself as one of the UK’s most promising rap talents, continuing to shape the future of British hip hop on both a local and global scale.
