Biography

Rasheeda Widad Buckner-Frost, born on May 25, 1976, in Decatur, Illinois, is an American rapper, entrepreneur, and television personality. She began her music career in the late 1990s as a member of the female hip-hop trio Da Kaperz. In 2000, she launched her solo career with the debut album Dirty South, featuring the single “Do It,” which peaked at number 7 on the Billboard Hot Rap Songs chart .

Rasheeda continued to build her music portfolio with albums like A Ghetto Dream (2002), GA Peach (2006), and Dat Type of Gurl (2007), the latter including the hit “Got That Good (My Bubble Gum)” . She also formed the duo Peach Candy with singer-songwriter Kandi Burruss.

In 2012, Rasheeda joined the cast of VH1’s Love & Hip Hop: Atlanta, where her personal and professional life, including her marriage to Kirk Frost and their two sons, Ky and Karter, have been prominently featured .

Beyond music and television, Rasheeda has established herself as a successful entrepreneur. She owns Pressed Boutique, with locations in Atlanta and Houston, and has launched ventures like Poiz Cosmetics and the ImBossy.com apparel line .
