Rob49 (real name Robert Coleman Thomas, born March 6, 1999) is a rising rap artist from New Orleans, known for his gritty lyricism, booming delivery, and authentic storytelling rooted in his upbringing.

Started rapping seriously in April 2020 after visiting a friend’s studio and performing on a whim; the reaction sparked his music journey.Independently released three mixtapes in 2020: 4our the World, Vulture, and Krazy Man.In June 2021, dropped 4GOD—his fourth project.April 2022 saw the release of Welcome to Vulture Island, featuring collaborations with Birdman, Lil Baby, and others—marking his mainstream emergence. Followed by 2023’s 4GOD II, with guest features including DaBaby, Trippie Redd, and again, Birdman. Gained critical attention as part of the 2023 XXL Freshman Class, and featured on Travis Scott’s “Topia Twins” with 21 Savage.
