Biography
Nursyafiq Farhain bin A.M. Salim, professionally known as Syafiq Farhain, is a Malaysian pop singer, actor, and firefighter born on February 19, 1994, in Kuala Lumpur. The son of the late legendary Malaysian singer Saleem, Syafiq began his musical journey in 2016 through the Smule app, gaining recognition with his rendition of “Mimpi Yang Pulang” by Iklim. He released his debut single, “Sayang Maafkan Aku,” in 2017, followed by hits like “Kamar Hati,” “Aku Jatuh Cinta,” and “Kau Bidadari.” In 2018, he participated in the inaugural season of the reality show Big Stage, finishing as the runner-up. Syafiq is also the lead vocalist of the band Fire Fingers JDT, comprising fellow firefighters. Balancing his musical career with his role as a firefighter at the Putrajaya Fire and Rescue Department Headquarters, he continues to contribute to both fields. In his personal life, Syafiq married Alia Nadia in 2021, and they have a daughter named Nur Eshal Zahra.
