About "Waylon Wyatt"

Biography

Waylon Wyatt, born on October 16, 2006, in Hackett, Arkansas, is an emerging American folk and country singer-songwriter known for his raw, emotionally resonant sound. Influenced by red-dirt artists like Tyler Childers and Zach Bryan, Wyatt began writing songs at the age of 15, often after working long days with his father on construction sites. His breakout came with the single “Everything Under The Sun,” which he initially shared on TikTok at a friend’s urging. The song’s heartfelt lyrics and stripped-down acoustic style resonated widely, leading to millions of streams and attention from record labels.

In 2024, Wyatt released his debut EP, Til The Sun Goes Down, recorded at his family’s kitchen table in Hackett. The EP features tracks like “Arkansas Diamond” and “Jailbreak,” a collaboration with Bayker Blakenship. His music is characterized by its minimal production, focusing on authentic storytelling and emotional depth.

Despite his rapid rise, Wyatt remains grounded, continuing to write and record in his hometown. He has toured with artists such as Dwight Yoakam, Dylan Gossett, and Sam Barber, and is currently working on his second collection of songs.
