Seaton Hamish Rogers (born April 24, 1999), known professionally as YNG Martyr, is a Wiradjuri Australian rapper and singer-songwriter from Canberra, now based in Melbourne. He began his music journey in 2018, freestyling in a Call of Duty chatroom, and soon released his debut single “PUTIN,” which garnered over a million streams . His breakout hit came in October 2019 with “Nike Ticks,” which went viral through meme-driven promotion and amassed tens of millions of streams, earning Acclaim Magazine’s Song of the Year . In 2022, he signed withWarner Music Australia – , followed by a publishing deal with Dew Process in 2023 .
