YTB Fatt, born Cavon Deshawn Paige on May 28, 2001, in West Memphis, Arkansas, is an American rapper, singer, and songwriter who has rapidly ascended in the Southern hip-hop scene. He began experimenting with music at 16 but didn’t pursue it seriously until he was 19. In 2019, he started releasing original songs, gradually building an audience. His breakthrough came in 2023 when he signed with Moneybagg Yo’s Bread Gang Entertainment. That year, he released the single “Shot Off Gumbo,” featuring Moneybagg Yo and Fat Wizza, which garnered significant attention and was included in Moneybagg Yo’s Hard to Love mixtape.
YTB Fatt’s music is characterized by a raspy Memphis drawl and a combative freestyle flow, blending Memphis grit with influences from Chicago drill and Detroit beats. His lyrics often reflect his personal experiences, including struggles with poverty and a past gambling addiction.
