HANA, Hana Gabrielle Pestle, born July 11, 1989 is an American singer-songwriter, producer, and DJ based in Los Angeles. She began her career under her full name, releasing EPs like Hana Pestle (2008) and her debut album This Way (2009) . In 2015 she rebranded as HANA, transitioning from folk-oriented roots to electronic-pop, and dropped the HANA EP in 2016. In November 2019, she released her second full-length album, Hanadriel, recorded live on Twitch in just four weeks . A frequent collaborator with Grimes, she’s also featured with artists like Anamanaguchi, Tchami, and Durante . Known for her ethereal vocals and experimental production, HANA stands out as a pioneering indie-electronic talent.
