Paradox, born Tanishq Singh on October 25, 2003, in Najafgarh, Delhi, is a prominent Indian rapper, lyricist, and hip-hop artist. He gained national recognition as the first runner-up on MTV Hustle 2.0 in 2022, where his dynamic performances and lyrical prowess captivated audiences and judges alike. Paradox’s journey into music began at the age of 14 when he discovered hip-hop, leading him to write songs and participate in rap challenges, notably one organized by Rohan Cariappa, which opened doors for collaborations with artists from India and Nepal.
His stage name, “Paradox,” was inspired by a music video by Badshah that featured a book titled Insolvable Paradox, leaving a lasting impression on him. In May 2020, he released his debut single “PARADICTION,” followed by collaborations like “Bhai Hai High” with Ravator and PINNOCIO. Paradox’s discography includes popular tracks such as “Jaadugar,” “Check It Out,” “Kaamil,” and “Hasti Rahe Tu.”
Beyond his musical endeavors, Paradox is also an entrepreneur. He founded his own music label, Shukraana Records, aiming to promote emerging talent and contribute to the Indian hip-hop scene. His performances have extended internationally, including a live show in Kanpur, India, and a trip to Dubai in December 2022.
