He began his musical journey in 2017, releasing his debut single “King Charles”. His first studio album, 21st Century Liability (2018), showcased his confrontational style and socially conscious lyrics, addressing themes like mental health and youth disenfranchisement. His sophomore album, Weird! (2020), marked a stylistic evolution, blending pop-punk with introspective themes, and debuted at number one on the UK Albums Chart. The self-titled third album, YUNGBLUD (2022), continued to explore personal and societal issues, featuring tracks like “The Funeral” and “Tissues.“

YUNGBLUD is also known for his outspoken advocacy on issues such as gender identity, mental health, and political activism. He publicly identifies as pansexual and has been candid about his experiences with sexuality and self-expression. His distinctive style and commitment to inclusivity have resonated with a diverse fanbase, establishing him as a prominent voice for Gen Z.

In addition to his music career, YUNGBLUD has ventured into acting and continues to engage with fans through various platforms, including his official Instagram account. His forthcoming album, Idols, is set for release on June 20, 2025, promising to further showcase his artistic evolution.
