About Jack Harlow

Jack Harlow, born Jackman Thomas Harlow on March 13, 1998, in Louisville, Kentucky, is an American rapper and songwriter known for his charismatic delivery and introspective lyrics. He began rapping at age 12, recording rhymes with a Guitar Hero microphone and a laptop. During high school, he formed the collective Private Garden, which helped him gain local recognition.

Harlow's rise to fame accelerated in 2020 with the release of "Whats Poppin," a track that gained viral popularity on TikTok and peaked at number two on the Billboard Hot 100. The song's success led to a Grammy nomination for Best Rap Performance.

His debut studio album, Thats What They All Say (2020), featured collaborations with artists like Lil Baby and Big Sean. In 2021, Harlow achieved his first number-one hit with "Industry Baby," a collaboration with Lil Nas X. His second album, Come Home the Kids Miss You (2022), included the chart-topping single "First Class."

In 2023, Harlow released his third studio album, Jackman, which showcased a more introspective and minimalist approach, addressing themes like fame and personal growth.

Beyond music, Harlow ventured into acting, starring as Jeremy in the 2023 remake of White Men Can't Jump and joining the cast of the Apple TV+ film The Instigators alongside Matt Damon and Casey Affleck.

In 2025, he collaborated with Doja Cat on the single "Just Us," a track that combines playful lyrics with a catchy rhythm, further solidifying his presence in the music industry.

Harlow's discography includes three studio albums: Thats What They All Say (2020), Come Home the Kids Miss You (2022), and Jackman (2023).

Raised in a supportive family, his parents, Maggie and Brian Harlow, played significant roles in his musical upbringing, exposing him to diverse genres from hip-hop to country.

Jack Harlow continues to evolve as an artist, balancing commercial success with personal authenticity, and remains a prominent figure in contemporary hip-hop.
