KHAID

Blazing into the Nigerian music scene with a fresh sound and undeniable energy, Khaid is one of the brightest young voices shaping the future of Afrobeats. Born Sulaimon Shekoni Solomon in 2004, Khaid burst out of Lagos’s bustling streets and straight into the spotlight with viral freestyle clips that caught the eye of comedy mogul Sydney Talker—earning him a record deal with Neville Records at just 17. Khaid’s debut single “With You” wasn’t just a love song—it was a promise of a new sound. Since then, he’s delivered on that promise with back-to-back hits and two standout EPs, Diversity and Emotions, blending Afro-trap, smooth R&B, and street-rooted pop. Songs like “Jolie,” “People,” and “Anabella” show his range—emotional yet catchy, reflective yet ready for the dancefloor. More than just another rising act, Khaid is part of a wave of Gen Z artists giving Afrobeats a new face—global, genre-bending, and emotionally bold. With every drop, he proves he’s not chasing trends—he’s defining them.
