About Meek Mill

Robert Rihmeek Williams, known professionally as Meek Mill, is an American rapper born on May 6, 1987, in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. He began his career as a battle rapper and later formed the rap group The Bloodhoundz before gaining early recognition through solo mixtapes like Flamers 2. After a brief stint with T.I.’s Grand Hustle Records, he signed with Rick Ross’ Maybach Music Group in 2011, rising to fame with tracks like “Ima Boss” and his debut album Dreams and Nightmares (2012). Known for his raw delivery and street-driven lyrics, Meek went on to release chart-topping albums such as Dreams Worth More Than Money (2015), Championships (2018), and Expensive Pain (2021). He founded Dream Chasers Records in 2012 to uplift new talent and became a vocal advocate for criminal justice reform after a high-profile incarceration in 2017, co-founding the Reform Alliance with Jay-Z in 2019. Meek Mill’s career reflects a powerful journey from poverty and legal struggles to becoming a leading voice in both hip-hop and social change.
