YBC DUL

Abdul Vicks, professionally known as YBC Dul, is a rapper from West Philadelphia whose raw and unfiltered music has made him both a controversial and captivating figure in the underground rap scene. As a prominent voice for the Young Bag Chasers (YBC)—a rap collective often linked to the city's gang culture — YBC Dul emerged as a street poet unafraid to expose the unforgiving realities of his environment. His music is unapologetically aggressive, with lyrics that serve as confessions, warnings, and open threats. Dul’s bold approach and brutal honesty earned him the nickname "Mr. Disrespectful"—a" title that reflects his readiness to cross lines few would dare approach. His content doesn’t just toe the line of provocation; it obliterates it. One of the most infamous moments of his career — and a viral moment that shocked the internet — was when he filmed himself digging up a rival's grave, an act many viewed as a disturbing form of retaliation and psychological warfare. The stunt further cemented his image as a rapper willing to declare war without limits, fueling both criticism and notoriety. Feared by rivals and followed by fans who see him as a fearless voice of the streets, YBC Dul represents a raw, unfiltered brand of hip hop where disrespect isn't a byproduct — it's the brand.
