Rebel Queen is the sixth studio album by Nigerian Afropop sensation Yemi Alade, released on July 26, 2024, through Effyzzie Music. This 16-track project showcases Alade’s versatility, blending genres such as Afropop, Amapiano, Reggae, R&B, Dancehall, Highlife, and Lingala. The album features collaborations with artists like Angélique Kidjo, Ziggy Marley, Innoss’B, KiDi, Femi One, and Konshens.

The album’s lead single, “Tomorrow,” received a nomination for Best African Music Performance at the 67tnual Grammy Ah Anwards. Other notable tracks include “Peace & Love” featuring Ziggy Marley, “African Woman” with Angélique Kidjo, and “Lipeka” featuring Innoss’B. Alade’s multilingual approach is evident as she sings in Yoruba, English, Igbo, French, and Swahili, reflecting her commitment to celebrating African culture.
