Voices is the second full-length studio album by Phantogram, following their dreamy and experimental debut Eyelid Movies (2010). With this release, the duo steps into a darker, more refined space — both sonically and emotionally — crafting a record that feels intimate and cinematic all at once.

Built on a foundation of hypnotic loops, gritty beats, and lush synth work, the album pulses with a mood that’s equal parts mysterious and magnetic. Josh Carter’s production is sharper and more shadowed, threading hip-hop-inspired rhythms with eerie textures. Sarah Barthel’s vocals float above the chaos — delicate, urgent, and emotionally raw.
