AKON, SIMIEN-Never Really Mattered

It never really mattered too much to me, to me (Konvict) It never really mattered too much to me, to me It never really mattered too much to me, to me It never really mattered too much I had too many women, living life like a rockstar It never really mattered too much I shoulda slowed my roll, but instead, I went too far You keep on crying ’cause you just can’t let me go Had every right, baby, ’cause I was straight tripping Cheating and lying, I’m turning ’round, blaming you I need you back, am I worth you forgiving? It never really mattered too much Girl, I’m pouring everything I got to show you that I’m sorry It never really mattered too much The truth is nothing really mattered ’til I lost my baby We kissed, we laughed (Yeah) We fell too fast (Yeah) How’d we get like that? (Don’t know, yeah) How’d we get like that? Oh (Don’t know, baby) We stood up too fast (Yeah) We thought we’d last (Yeah) How’d we get like that? (Don’t know, yeah) How’d we get like that? Oh (Don’t know, baby) It never really mattered too much To mе, I thought I had it all It never really mattеred too much ‘Til you up and left me, then I realized I made the wrong call It never really mattered too much ‘Til my heart came out my chest, I knew, without you, I can’t fix it It never really mattered too much Everything that I denied, girl, you was right, you know I did it It never really mattered too much To me long as it wasn’t me hurting It never really mattered too much I know now you did not deserve To keep on crying ’cause you just can’t let me go (It never really mattered too much) Had every right, baby, ’cause I was straight tripping (To me) Cheating and lying, I’m turning ’round, blaming you (It never really mattered too much) I need you back, am I worth you forgiving? It never really mattered too much Girl, I’m pouring everything I got to show you that I’m sorry It never really mattered too much The truth is nothing really mattered ’til I lost my baby We kissed, we laughed (Yeah) We fell too fast (Yeah) How’d we get like that?
