Cassie (2006) is the debut studio album by Cassie Ventura, released on August 8, 2006, through Bad Boy Records. Produced primarily byyan Leslie  R, the album blends sleek R&B with minimalist electronic beats, led by the hit single “Me & U”. Cassie’s airy vocals and futuristic sound helped shape the alt-R&B scene that followed. Though she hasn’t released a second full-length album, Cassie dropped several standout projects, including the RockaByeBaby mixtape (2013), praised for its darker, more experimental edge. In 2019, she independently released singles like “Moments” and “Excuses,” showing continued growth in sound and artistry.
