Blues Chase The Blues Away

The blues chase the blues away The blues chase the blues away Every time I hear an old Jimmy Reed song I forget all about all the things that gone wrong The blues chase the blues away When you're out there in the field Working all day long When you're out there in the field Sweatin' and diggin' all day long Make you feel a little better Just to sing a good ol' blues song The blues chase the blues away The blues chase the blues away Every time I hear a BB King song I forget all about everything that's gone wrong That's why I say the blues chase the blues away When your woman left you You're feeling all alone When your woman left you You're feeling all alone Just a little dose of the delta And that lonesome feeling is gone The blues chase the blues away The blues chase the blues away Saw a man down on the street Playing for nickels and dimes Saw a man down on the street Singin' blues for nickels and dimes He said when you sing 'em you lose 'em So brother I'm doing just fine The blues chase the blues away I said the blues chase the blues away Every time I hear a Little Walter song It makes me forget about everything that's gone wrong The blues chase the blues away Hey I said the blues chase the blues away I don't think I will have it any other way The blues chase the blues away
